I've been wanting to learn about and practice dramatic BW. So I am grateful when Cris Stephens invited me to join the 12 Feelings Project. She is so good with the dramatic BW approach.

On the 12th of each month during this year, we will post one BW image relevant to the theme.  This month's theme is Feeling Nostalgic and recently I am feeling nostalgic about my daughter. I remember her when she was still a little baby. The time when I nursed her to sleep, when she rested her head on my chest, when she was learning to walk, when she would crawl on top of me to find warmth, or when I laid down beside her just to stare at her face or stroke her hair.

By far, this is totally not a dramatic BW approach! Lol. But I am hoping to learn this new technique during this year. Next, please visit the blog of my new friend Anna Dobrenski of Anna Dobrenski Photography. I look forward to seeing her take on this month.

Debbie, you are always so modest! This is an amazing dramatic BW! You always have such a way with your camera and being able to capture so much emotion in whatever you focus on. You and your daughter as so lucky to have each other.
